Everything you need to know about early voting for Elections 2018

Early voting has begun in Miami-Dade & Broward County for the 2018 midterm elections. Here’s everything you need to know about early voting:

    1. Early Voting runs from Monday, Oct. 22, to Sunday, Nov. 4. Election Day is on Tuesday, Nov. 6.
    2. Miami-Dade county has designated 28 locations for early voting. Broward has designated 20 locations. Use our interactive map below to find the closet location to you. Click the icon on the top left to search for specific sites in each county:

  1. Each early voting location will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  2. Voters will need to show a picture ID with a signature to be able to vote.
  3. Voters can vote in any early voting location that is in their county. Any voters registered in Miami-Dade county, for example, can vote at Florida International University’s Modesto Maidique campus.
  4. It’s recommended voters review their sample ballot before heading to the polls. Miami-Dade county voters can review their customized sample ballot here. Broward county voters can view it here.
  5. Miami-Dade county voters wanting to avoid lines can click here to see the expected wait time in every polling location. Broward County voters can click here to see their expected wait time.
